WHO WE ARE

Koala Early Education Center is a center dedicated to the integral development of the generation today and the future. We make our based in old developmental theories from Jean Piaget, Maslow, Erikson, Vygotsky, Maria Montessori, and Gabriela Mistral. Mixing them with our principal educational programs:

  • Creative Curriculum
  • High Reach
  • Stem System
  • Reading Readiness
  • Florida Developmental Standards

We used methods of continuous evaluation and observation in areas of social and emotional development tools like:

  • Teaching Strategies Gold
  • Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ)
  • Becky Bailey: Conscious Discipline
  • Beyond Center and Circle Time
  • Beyond Cribs and Rattles

When we mix all this factor, we get a perfect combination of the theories of development and programs of early childhood which is the perfect ingredient for the elaboration of our methodology, dedication and professionalism of our team and the experience of more than 20 years in the area of psychology and children development of our director and founder.

Building this way, our own and original work methodology, where we mix the experience and education in a bilingual program (English/ Spanish), during the past 18 years has produced a generation of successful children.

Here are the main programs that we offer:

Infant and Toddler
Infant and toddler are unique individuals whose needs vary from moment to moment. They have special ways of learning about the world and exploring their environment. At Koala, we provide appropriate early experiences that serve as a base for knowing and understanding their world, as well as shape their early development. It is essential to design environments that match the infant’s and toddler’s way of learning and allow them to influence the process.
